Dream Castle Destinations

“If you don’t build castles in the air, you won’t build anything on the ground.”

Thank you, Victor Hugo. We love that sentiment.

We also love to dream big. And we adore castles.

So, with that in mind, we’re sharing some of the best exclusive-use Scottish castles for whatever the occasion – meetings, incentives, conferences, team building. You name it.

And because we have such enviable contacts and impressive partners, we promise a programme a little less ordinary, a bit more money-can’t-buy – whatever the destination.

So let Limitless guide you through just a few of the spectacular options guaranteed to ensure an unforgettable event.

Aldourie Castle

A peaceful haven set in a breathtaking world of its own, this glorious castle is the epitome of Scottish hospitality. Just five miles from the Highland capital of Inverness, it offers luxury group accommodation on the shores of legendary Loch Ness.

With incredible views, and surrounded by 500 acres of private woodland, parkland and gardens, the estate offers 12 elegant castle bedrooms and seven self-catering cottages. There’s also a unique boathouse, perfect for gatherings. And take your pick of activities including fishing, stalking and shooting, watersports, hiking and golf.

Some of our favourite activities to arrange here revolve around the stunning landscapes. A private cruise on Loch Ness with a sumptuous seafood banquet? We’ve got a guy for that. A private whisky experience with a world-renowned expert, tasting some of the most exclusive and rare whiskies? Again, we’ve got his number. A foot-tapping fiddler to get you dancing, a dignified piper to welcome guests, or world champion Highland Dancers – there is no limit to what we can arrange.

Plus, the big sustainability bonus – by staying here you’re helping to protect the Scottish Highlands. As custodians of the land, the estate has a 200-year vision to restore its part of the world to its original natural splendour.

Blairquhan Castle

With a history dating back to the 14th century, there’s a regal air about this castle, stand-in for Balmoral Castle in the Oscar-winning film The Queen and the backdrop for numerous other films and television programmes.

Located deep in the Ayrshire countryside, it is also a tranquil corporate retreat with four characterful function rooms including a large drawing room and library, plus private dining options. The castle itself can accommodate 30 guests with room for more in the estate’s eight cottages.

Ideal for a golf outing – the Open championship was born in Ayrshire – the county is also home to nearby Alloway, birthplace of Robert Burns.

We love this little corner of Scotland – perhaps a little less visited that some of the more mainstream parts of the country, but that doesn’t mean your options are limited. Do you want to play a round on the very first course to host The Open Championship? Combine that with a unique dinner at one of Scotland’s most photographed Castles (also location of the holiday home of 34th U.S President, Dwight D Eisenhower). We can open those doors.

Rothes Glen

A Luxury castle for whisky connoisseurs. What a combination. Situated in the Spey Valley, in the heart of distillery county, the castle is almost equidistant from Aberdeen and Inverness airports, with private helicopter pad for those who want to take the direct route.

Blending Highland grandeur with modern amenities, this opulent home offers the perfect place to unwind, relax or conduct business. Follow the winding staircase to the top of Rothes Glen tower and soak up the views from the wood-panelled whisky observatory with a dram and telescope.

And if you want to indulge further, we can arrange a private whisky tour of some of the many nearby distilleries – there are more than 50 on the doorstep including major international brands as well as hidden gems. Slainte!

The house sleeps up to 28 guests and caters for everything from traditional Highland banquets to picnics by the lochan plus bespoke activities including white water rafting, off-road quad adventures, and hunting/shooting/fishing.

But with Limitless the possibilities are infinite: Star in your own movie – our expert filmmaker will put you in the picture: Got something to promote? Launch it will a flashmob of rebellious Highlanders: Fancy chilling with a festival vibe – we’ll produce your own Woodstock or Glyndebourne.

Or – heavens above – reach for the stars with a local astronomer to guide you through the sky at night, the Milky Way is visible, or chase the Aurora Borealis with our Northern Lights experience. So much to do, so little time. Or is there? Time stands still in these atmospheric castles.
